If someone were to be traveling to Southeast Asia (Thailand and other countries), if they had done drugs several times in other countries, specifically coke and weed, could they be in any trouble arriving in Southeast Asia (Thailand and other countries). They would be bringing nothing into the country at all, just thinking of trace elements or maybe grains of stuff sticking to a shirt or pants or in a travel pack. The clothes would obviously be washed.

And if they're suspicious of anything and do a drug test, could there be any problems if the person had done any drugs a couple of weeks before?

Suggest you search how long they remain in the body and can be detected

Luckily the death penalty is not very likely if they find evidence of use but no actual drugs

Not 100% clear of your answer. You say that luckily the death penalty is unlikely. But are you saying they could put you in jail for many years for finding trace elements of something in your bag or just giving you a drug test? Do they do drug tests at the airport?

My impression is that coke stays in your system for many years (depending on what type of test they do).
