hi everybody,
I'm searching for informations about long tail boats from Koh Yao Yai to Koh Poda, then Ao Nang as next stop.
I know that there are many day tour from Ao Nang, but as I'm staying in Koh Yao Yai, I would like to to avoid going to Ao Nang first.
Does anybody know about this connection?

The only way to do that is by private boat so it would be expensive. Ko Poda is very close to Ao Nang and it's only a day trip island -- there is no accommodation on Poda and you can't stay there overnight. So it doesn't really make sense to go there on the way to Ao Nang unless you have plenty of cash to burn. Much cheaper would be to take a ferry to Ao Nang first. From there you don't have to hit Poda on a group tour. You could do a private longtail boat trip that would also include Ko Gai, or you could take the public longtail boats that cost 400 baht, round trip, from Ao Nang (or Haad Nopparat Thara) to Ko Poda. With those you can go in the morning and return in the afternoon, as public boats come and go throughout the day.

thank you for the reply...
I will follow your advice and leave Yao Yai late afternoon for Ao Nang, then take a long tail boat the next day to enjoy a full day on Poda.
